Apple stops selling the M4 Mac mini 256GB storage model through its online store

Apple has stopped offering the 256GB storage option for the M4 Mac mini through its online store. The official Apple India buying page now lists the M4 Mac mini with 512GB storage as the entry configuration.

This means buyers looking for the cheapest Mac mini no longer have access to the previous 256GB base model directly from Apple.

The 256GB Mac mini was attractive because it offered the lowest entry price into Apple’s desktop ecosystem. Removing it makes the Mac mini more expensive upfront.

At the same time, 512GB storage is a much more practical starting point for most users, especially for developers, creators, students, and office users.
