Vivo T5 Pro 5G specifications revealed ahead of India launch, chipset draws attention

Vivo has confirmed that the T5 Pro 5G will launch in India on April 15, 2026, at 12 noon. The phone will be sold via Flipkart, and the brand has already put up a dedicated microsite ahead of the announcement.

One of the biggest talking points is the processor. Vivo has confirmed that the T5 Pro 5G will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip.

This chipset choice has drawn attention because reports note it replaces the previous model’s higher-tier positioning in some respects, and early Geekbench-related details suggest the raw benchmark jump may not be straightforward despite the newer platform.

Battery capacity is another major headline feature. Vivo has officially confirmed a 9,020mAh battery for the T5 Pro 5G, making it one of the biggest batteries expected in this segment.

Earlier reporting also suggested fast charging support, with one report mentioning 90W charging, though the company’s newer spec-focused teaser coverage highlighted the battery more prominently than charging speed.

Pre-launch reports around the Flipkart teaser campaign suggest the Vivo T5 Pro 5G could feature a 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, along with a 50MP rear camera.

The design has also been previewed ahead of launch, with a flatter frame, a simpler dual-camera layout, and two confirmed colours: Cosmic Black and Glacier Blue.

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G is expected to sit slightly above last year’s model in price, pushing it closer to the upper mid-range segment.

A separate price leak suggests a possible range between Rs 30,000 and Rs 36,999, though final pricing will only be confirmed at launch.
