Samsung Reportedly Starts Internal Testing of Android 17-Based One UI 9 for Galaxy S25 Series

According to multiple reports, Samsung has begun internal testing of One UI 9 for the Galaxy S25 series.

Tipster Tarun Vats claims that Samsung's first internal test build has been spotted, although the actual build number remains encrypted and unavailable for detailed analysis.

The discovery indicates that development of Samsung's next-generation Android experience is already underway.

One of the most interesting aspects of the leak is the timing.

Reports suggest Samsung started One UI 9 testing roughly two weeks earlier than it began One UI 8 development for the Galaxy S24 lineup last year.

While that may sound minor, earlier testing often translates into more development time, faster beta programs and potentially quicker stable releases.
