Lava Aura Curve 5G Launched in India: Price, Specs and Features

The Lava Aura Curve 5G has been introduced for India's offline smartphone market, according to the supplied launch details. It is described as the first handset in Lava's Aura family. Rather than treating the launch as proof of entirely new hardware, buyers should note that the announcement says the core specifications were previously used under another online-market model name; that earlier model has not been independently identified here.

Its appeal centres on a curved AMOLED display, a small secondary display on the rear, a vegan-leather-style finish and a large battery. Ambar Blue and Him Silver are the listed colour options. Because the phone is positioned for physical retailers, customers should ask their local dealer about stock, final billing price and applicable service terms before travelling to a store.

The listed 6.67-inch Full HD+ curved AMOLED screen offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The launch information also cites up to 1,100 nits peak brightness and 1,920Hz PWM dimming. Those figures describe specified display capabilities, not independently measured outdoor visibility or eye comfort. Buyers who are sensitive to curved-edge reflections or accidental touches should try the phone in person.

A rear mini display is said to show notifications, music controls, battery information and custom text. The vegan-leather-style back adds a design distinction, while the claimed protection package includes IP64 dust and splash resistance, IronGuard Protection, Al-Si DT Star 2 glass and MIL-STD-810H-related durability. None of these claims makes the phone waterproof or guarantees survival after a drop; ask the seller about warranty exclusions.

The phone is listed with a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor clocked up to 2.4GHz, 6GB of LPDDR5 physical RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The advertised additional 6GB of virtual RAM uses storage as expansion and should not be confused with an extra 6GB of installed memory. This configuration targets everyday multitasking, video streaming and mainstream mobile games, but sustained gaming results have not been independently tested.

Connectivity features in the supplied specifications include dual SIM, 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. An in-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers and IR blaster are also listed. The reported AnTuTu result above 800,000 is a manufacturer-side claim, not a Godealio test score. Buyers should check local carrier compatibility, Wi-Fi feature support and actual performance rather than relying on a single benchmark number.

A 6000mAh battery is a major selling point of the Lava Aura Curve 5G. The supplied specifications say the phone supports charging at up to 45W, while the retail package includes a 33W charger. These are different figures: having 45W charging support does not mean the bundled adapter itself supplies 45W. Ask the retailer whether a compatible higher-power adapter is required to reach the phone's maximum supported charging rate.

The launch material also mentions up to 720 hours of standby time. This is an advertised estimate, not a tested result under typical Indian 5G usage. Actual endurance will vary with signal strength, brightness, navigation, gaming, camera recording and background activity. No independently measured screen-on time or full-charge duration is available in the supplied information.

For photography, the listed main camera uses a 50MP Sony IMX752 sensor with electronic image stabilisation and support for 2K video recording. The front camera is specified at 13MP. The camera app reportedly includes Night Mode, Pro Video, Motion Photo, Sports Mode and Dual-View Video. Sensor resolution and shooting modes alone do not establish photo quality, so low-light samples, colour consistency and video stabilisation remain untested.

The Aura Curve 5G is listed as shipping with Android 16 and a relatively clean interface. The stated software commitment is two Android OS upgrades and three years of security patches. The announcement also refers to Vayu AI features, but their specific usefulness, availability and data-handling behaviour have not been evaluated. Before buying, check whether the update policy is measured from launch and whether any preinstalled apps can be removed.

The announced India price is ₹23,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. This is a reported launch price from the supplied material, not a live dealer quote. No independently confirmed card discounts, exchange bonuses or other memory configurations are available in the provided evidence. Taxes, dealer promotions and stock availability should be confirmed on the final invoice.

Lava is positioning the handset for its offline retail partner network rather than confirming an online sale listing for this model. The company also advertises a Free Service @ Home after-sales programme. Customers should verify eligibility, coverage, turnaround times and warranty terms for their PIN code directly with the retailer or Lava. City-wise availability and colour-wise inventory have not been established.

The Lava Aura Curve 5G may suit shoppers who prioritise a curved AMOLED screen, distinctive rear display, a 6000mAh battery and the option to inspect a phone in-store. Its listed features also include a bundled charger, IR blaster, stereo speakers and Android 16. These details make it worth comparing with other phones around ₹24,000, particularly if local after-sales service is important.

There are reasons to wait for independent reviews before making a final decision. Camera processing, gaming temperatures, screen durability, battery endurance and charging speed have not been verified through hands-on testing here. At the store, inspect the display edges, check the rear screen's usefulness, test camera responsiveness, confirm the exact adapter in the box and ask for the written software-support and service conditions.

The supplied launch details consistently describe a 6.67-inch 120Hz curved AMOLED panel, Dimensity 7100 chipset, 6GB/128GB configuration, 50MP main camera, 13MP selfie camera, 6000mAh battery and Android 16. They also give a ₹23,999 price and describe offline retail availability. These are announcement-level details; this revision does not represent a fresh independent confirmation from a live retail listing or the manufacturer's current product page.

Several points remain open: city-wise stock, additional variants, launch promotions, real-world battery life, independent benchmark scores, low-light camera quality and sustained performance. The quoted 720-hour standby figure, benchmark result and durability wording should remain clearly labelled as claims. Buyers should rely on a current invoice, official warranty documentation and independent testing when those become available.
