itel Muzik 450L launched in India for Rs. 1,659 with 2-in-1 speaker

itel has expanded its entry-level handset lineup in India with the Muzik 450L, a feature phone that puts audio and basic daily use ahead of smartphone-style extras. The device is aimed at buyers who still prefer a keypad phone for calls, radio, torch use and longer standby times, while also wanting louder playback than a typical compact handset can offer.

The reported India price is Rs. 1,659, which places the phone squarely in the ultra-budget segment. At that level, the main question for buyers is not whether it replaces a smartphone, but whether it solves a narrower need well: louder sound, simple controls, low-cost ownership and easy charging. The Muzik 450L appears to be built around that idea.

The most visible feature is the F20 2-in-1 high-output speaker system. That wording suggests the phone is designed to deliver loud audio output for music playback, FM radio and calls, especially in places where a smaller speaker can sound weak. For many buyers in India, this matters more than a large screen or app support if the handset is meant for outdoor work, travel or simple everyday use.

The hardware package also includes a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a 2,500mAh battery and Type-C charging. That mix makes the phone easier to plug in than older feature phones that still rely on older ports, and the battery size should help the device stay practical for users who do not want to charge every day. The handset is also listed at 13.4 mm thickness, which keeps it relatively slim for this class.

A loud speaker and a modest battery often work as a paired selling point in feature phones. Buyers who use such devices usually want one handset for calls, radio, alerts and basic media, not a complex software experience. In that context, the value of the Muzik 450L is not raw performance but simplicity: press a button, get audio, and keep the phone running for long periods between charges.

The 2-in-1 speaker branding is the headline feature here, but the 2,500mAh battery is the other part that makes the pitch believable. The source does not provide battery life numbers, so no endurance claim should be assumed. Still, in this category, a larger battery can reduce charging anxiety for people who use the phone as a backup device, a worksite phone or a second handset for voice and radio.

The Muzik 450L is not just about sound. It also brings wireless FM radio with recording, which means users do not need a wired headset for antenna support in the way some older feature phones required. Bluetooth is included as well, so pairing with an external speaker or headset should be part of the basic use case, even though the source does not go into codec or version details.

Other reported features are practical rather than flashy. The phone supports up to 1,000 contacts with icon support, includes automatic call recording, a dedicated vibration motor, King Talker accessibility assistance, a long-press shortcut on the 0 key that announces the current time, an integrated VGA rear camera and a built-in high-intensity torch. That combination makes the phone feel more like a utility tool than a stripped-down music player.

The reported price of Rs. 1,659 is low enough to appeal to first-time buyers, secondary-phone users and families that still prefer keypad phones for specific use cases. At this level, customers usually compare the handset with other basic phones on audio, battery size, charging port type and after-sales support rather than on app ecosystems or camera quality.

The packaging is reported to include a protective back cover, which is a useful small-value addition because it saves the buyer from sourcing an accessory separately. The phone is also said to come in three colour options, although the colour names were not provided in the supplied evidence. Wider retail support and service coverage were also mentioned, but exact city-wise stock and local availability can still vary.

The most obvious fit is a buyer who wants a simple phone that is easy to carry, easy to charge and louder than an average budget keypad handset. The speaker-led design makes sense for people who listen to FM radio, take frequent calls in noisy surroundings or want a second device for work and travel. It may also appeal to buyers who prefer physical keys over touchscreens.

It is less suitable for shoppers looking for app-heavy features, advanced cameras or modern smartphone connectivity. The supplied information does not mention 4G, Android, a large storage option or a high-resolution camera system, so those should not be assumed. In other words, this is a utility-first launch, not an attempt to compete with entry-level smartphones.

A few practical details are still missing from the supplied evidence. Exact colour names were not listed, and the source does not spell out whether the handset is already on shelves everywhere in India or only moving through select retail channels. It also does not provide a battery life estimate, which is often the single most important detail for feature-phone buyers.

The report also does not include processor information, memory details or any deeper specification sheet beyond the core display, audio, battery and utility functions. Buyers interested in exact local pricing, replacement terms at the counter, or whether nearby stores have live stock should check with the retailer before making a trip. That is especially important in low-cost segments, where availability can change quickly.

The itel Muzik 450L is a straightforward feature phone launch built around one clear promise: louder audio at a very low price. The combination of a 2-in-1 speaker, 2,500mAh battery, Type-C charging and practical extras such as FM recording and call recording makes it easy to understand who the phone is for.

For Indian buyers who only need a dependable keypad device for calls, radio, torch use and simple communication, the phone looks sensibly specified on paper. The important caveat is that the supplied information is still light on deeper technical details, so anyone buying it should focus on the essentials: price, stock, bundled accessories and whether the speaker-first design matches their daily use.
