CMF Phone 3 Pro leak hints at bigger battery, faster charging and Snapdragon chipset

According to a new report cited by 91mobiles, the CMF Phone 3 Pro is expected to bring a chipset change, battery upgrade, faster charging, and a more premium frame design.

The phone is likely to launch as the successor to the CMF Phone 2 Pro, which debuted in April 2025.

The biggest reported change is a move to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. That would replace the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro used in the previous generation.

Battery is another area that could improve. The report says the typical battery capacity may be listed at 5,090mAh, while the marketed figure could land closer to 5,400mAh to 5,500mAh.

Charging is also tipped to increase to 45W, up from 33W on the earlier model.

The rest of the setup is expected to stay familiar. The leak points to a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and stereo speakers.

Camera details mentioned in the report include a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens. A 16MP front camera is also expected.

The modular design approach is expected to remain, but the camera placement may see some minor adjustments. One of the more notable design changes tipped in the report is a shift from a plastic frame to a metal frame.

While no official price has been confirmed, 91mobiles notes that the CMF Phone 2 Pro started at Rs 18,999, and a price bump for the new model would not be surprising given the reported upgrades.

There is no official launch date yet, but the report suggests the CMF Phone 3 Pro could launch soon as the next follow-up in CMF's mid-range smartphone lineup.
